Join the California Center for School Climate and Solano County Office of Education to learn about some tools and powerful lessons discovered from districtwide empathy interviews. Student and school staff interviews unearthed some root causes of student absenteeism and include multiple perspectives to inform student supports and school climate improvement efforts. Participants statewide will have the opportunity to reflect on the stories from Solano COE and share their own successes and challenges in a small group setting. Ideas from these small groups, along with resources from the CCSC and Solano COE, will then be shared so you can apply them within your own school climate improvement efforts.
