Join experts from WestEd’s Desired Results Training and Technical Assistance Project for a full-day, in-person workshop that celebrates the unique talents, strengths, and contributions of boys of color, and recognizes their brilliance and resilience in the face of societal changes.
Educators and providers will have the opportunity to learn more about creating supportive environments and empowering boys of color to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

This workshop draws from the resource, Creating Equitable Early Learning Environments for Young Boys of Color, published by the California Department of Education, and provides early childhood educators and providers guidance on how to support better outcomes for young boys of color.
Pre-Workshop Reading: The training requires the use of the publication, Creating Equitable Early Learning Environments for Young Boys of Color. This resource is available to download for free. Please be prepared to bring your own copy to the training or have the publication available digitally.
