Dr. Teresa Alonzo, Associate Director of School Networks, Educational Leadership, and System Design, will moderate a panel discussion and facilitate a leadership workshop at the California Association of Latino Superintendents & Administrators (CALSA) Summer Institute 2024, held June 26-29 in San Diego, California.
The Institute brings together educational leaders who are committed to advancing equity and excellence in education for Latinx communities. This year’s theme is “Collective Corazón: Breaking Barriers and Inspiring Change!”
Join Dr. Alonzo and Dr. Juan Santos, President Elect at CALSA and Assistant Superintendent at the Ventura County Office of Education for CALSA’s Classified Leadership Clinic. This workshop will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024.
Dr. Alonzo will also moderate a panel discussion with Jerry Almendarez, Superintendent at the Santa Ana Unified School District, Dr. Stefanie Phillips, Chief Talent Officer at WestEd, and Lynette White, Public Information Officer at the Palo Alto Unified School District. This session will focus on mentoring as a strategy to develop, promote, and retain BIPOC and female leaders.
