Experts from WestEd’s English Learners and Migrant Education Services team will participate in this year’s California Association for Bilingual Education (CABE) Online Conference, March 29–April 2.
CABE is a nonprofit organization that promotes bilingual education and quality educational experiences for all students in California. The theme this year is Stand Up! Get Up! For Biliteracy and Multilingual Rights, a call to action for educators to continue the work of advocating for language, cultural, and civil rights.
As part of WestEd’s English Learners and Migrant Education Services, presenters Kathia Romo Ben Sadok and Ruth Sebastian work to support schools, districts, and states to promote success and enhance learning opportunities for English Learners, Multilingual Learners, and Migratory Students.
