Patterns of Student Mobility Among English Language Learner Students in Arizona Public Schools
Description
Research shows that high rates of student mobility are associated with lower student achievement and, for English language learners, increased time needed to become proficient in English. Arizona has a high rate of both — student mobility and English language learners.
This study, prepared by REL West, examines the magnitude of student mobility throughout Arizona, especially among English language learner students.
A short summary of the report is also available.
