Rasha Elsayed is a Research Associate with the Science and Engineering team at WestEd. She works primarily on program evaluations and research projects.
Elsayed has worked on projects including the development of teacher frameworks that articulate how teachers can support students to develop data fluency and data-rich place-based learning; the creation of research products to inform the development of curriculum units and professional learning frameworks that aim to broaden science participation to indigenous youth, emergent multilingual learners and learners experiencing physical and sensory disabilities; and the support of a program evaluation to expand the participation of neurodiverse learners in NASA.
Before joining WestEd, Elsayed worked at the United Nations as a program evaluator and as an administrator at a local high school in the Bay Area. Elsayed holds an MA in international comparative education from Stanford University.
