Justine Zimiles is a Research Assistant with the WestEd Justice & Prevention Research Center. She conducts research and program evaluation activities with a focus on quantitative analysis. She works with programs to develop data collection tools, analyze data, and create reports. Her current projects focus on community schools and school safety.
Zimiles has experience working in non-profit research and evaluation settings with an emphasis on mental health research. She also has experience teaching undergraduate statistics and English as a foreign language.
Zimiles holds an MA in applied psychology from San Diego State University in 2017. Her research interests include health equity, demography, and restorative justice. She is proficient in Spanish.
