About the Justice & Prevention Research Center
The majority of our work in justice and prevention evolves from WestEd’s Justice & Prevention Research Center (JPRC), which is a non-partisan source of rigorous and policy-relevant research, evaluation, and technical assistance for government leaders, policymakers, foundations, researchers, media, and community-based leaders working in public safety, public health, and justice systems.

Dr. Anthony Petrosino
Dr. Anthony Petrosino is Director of the Justice and Prevention Research Center (JPRC) at WestEd. He is also Affiliated Faculty and Senior Research Fellow at George Mason University’s Center for Evidence-Based Crime Policy.

WestEd Names New Director of Justice and Prevention

Trevor Fronius has been named the new Director of WestEd’s Justice and Prevention team. Fronius, a senior social science researcher for WestEd’s Justice and Prevention Research Center, brings to his new position 15 years of experience conducting research focused on improving the behaviors and conditions that affect the health, safety, and overall quality of life for youth, young adults, and their families. -
